Eligibility
Chatuw is intended for adults who are at least 18 years old. By using Chatuw, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement and that your use of the service is allowed where you live.
Acceptable use
Chatuw is for private 1-on-1 conversations between adults. Do not use the service for harassment, scams, spam, threats, illegal activity, impersonation, or sharing content you do not have the right to share.
Prohibited content and behavior
You may not use Chatuw to send illegal, hateful, exploitative, threatening, violent, non-consensual, misleading, or abusive content. You may not pressure users for money, personal photos, passwords, phone numbers, addresses, financial details, verification codes, or off-site contact.
Anonymous sessions
Users can chat with a nickname instead of a permanent account. Anonymous access does not permit abuse. Chatuw may limit, block, or remove sessions that create safety or spam risks.
Messages and images
You are responsible for what you send. Do not send private, illegal, hateful, exploitative, or non-consensual content. Image sharing may be limited, delayed, or removed for safety.
Spam, links, and contact details
Chatuw may restrict repeated messages, suspicious links, phone numbers, promotional content, automated activity, scraping, bots, or attempts to move users into unsafe off-site channels. Repeated abuse may lead to temporary or longer bans.
Blocking and moderation
Users can block unsafe conversations. Chatuw may also use automated and manual controls to detect spam, rate-limit activity, and respond to reports.
Service availability
Chatuw may change, pause, restrict, or discontinue features as needed for safety, legal, technical, or operational reasons. The service is provided as available and may experience interruptions, errors, or maintenance periods.
User responsibility
You are responsible for your own conversations and decisions. Chatuw cannot verify every user identity or message. Use caution with strangers and do not rely on anonymous chat for emergencies, financial decisions, legal advice, medical advice, or sensitive personal matters.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the latest version.
